Ski to Sea:
No One Sees the Whole Race

Documentary following a 7-leg multisport relay race from the top of Mt. Baker to Bellingham Bay.

I was a one-man show, pre-production planning, filming, and camera coordinating in real-time on the day of the relay. Afterward I processed 30 hours of footage to identify the core story arcs and showcase the human heart involved in this great race.

Anatomy of a Home Pole

Tutorial video I edited for the YouTube Channel, Pole Technica. The creator, Fiora Wilde, wanted a pink video that was informative with engaging pacing.

We did chose not to use stock or licensed music. If we were to collaborate again on the project, I would add background music and bring the color grade closer to natural.

Short-Form Informative

Bioluminesence

I challenged myself to make a short-form video in 1 hour.

Using AI, I created an educational script and narrated it. Then I combined the narration audio with stock footage, illustrating the main concept. I then added stock music that created the ambiance and stock sound effects that brought the viewer to the beach and underwater. I finished in Canva creating the subtitles.
